Simplified Wreck Survey

The Foucauld shipwreck is an underwater obstruction located in the Bay of Biscay off the coast of France at coordinates 46 9.472 N, 1 15.497 W. Historical hydrographic surveys from the UK Hydrographic Office and French records detail the site of the wreck, which measures 120 meters in length and 40 meters in width, oriented on a 100/280 degree heading. Initially charted and updated through various editions of French nautical charts, the wreck dried 7.2 meters before being officially deleted and marked as dead in December 2009.
