Simplified Wreck Survey

The shipwreck of the LOCH LOMOND is an underwater obstruction located at coordinates 57 8.638 N, 2 3.748 W off the Scottish coast. Historical hydrographic records from the UK Hydrographic Office note that the vessel sank on November 6, 1952, at the entrance to the harbour. Initially, the wreck was marked by a green conical light buoy flashing group flash three times every 15 seconds close to the stern. Subsequent survey records from July 27, 1953, confirm that both the wreck and the marking buoy have been removed, with the wreck status officially amended to dead.
