BUILT IN 1870 BY HALL, RUSSEL & CO, ABERDEEN. OWNED AT TIME OF LOSS BY ABERDEEN, LEITH & MORAY SS CO. ONE BOILER, COMPOUND EXPANSION ENGINE OF 65HP, SINGLE SHAFT. PASSAGE INVERGORDON FOR ABERDEEN. STRUCK ON THE PORT QUARTER AFTER CROSSING THE BOWS OF SS LUDDICK IN SSW FORCE 4. COMMENCED TO FLOOD RAPIDLY AND SETTLE. VESSEL ABANDONED WITH ENGINE RUNNING AND DROVE ASHORE ON THE BEACH. CREW RECOVERED BY SS LUDDICK. VESSEL WENT TO PIECES WHERE SHE LAY AND BECAME A TOTAL LOSS. (SIBI).
