Simplified Wreck Survey

The shipwreck LINGBANK is located off the coast of Fife near Fifeness in the North Sea at coordinates 56 15.161 N, 2 32.925 W. Originally sunk in April 1927 approximately 2 miles from Fifeness, historical survey records indicate that subsequent searches by HMS Scott in 1960, Oceonics in 1994, and Gardline Hydro in 2008 were unable to locate the wreck, though a 1977 survey previously noted a least depth of 15 meters.
