Simplified Wreck Survey

Historic shipwreck site located near the Weser lightvessel area in the North Sea at coordinates 53 54.117 N, 7 49.4 E. Historical hydrographic survey records indicate this underwater obstruction originated from a lighter that sank after striking a mine. The site was historically charted with approximate positioning and later evaluated on international nautical charts. Archival hydrographic data from the mid-20th century ultimately designated the wreck as non-dangerous and removed it from active navigation charts.
