BUILT IN 1903. YARROW BOILERS, TRIPLE EXPANSION ENGINES OF 19000IHP FOR 24 KNOTS. SIX 4.6 INCH, SIX 3PRD AND TWO 1PDR GUNS. FIVE TORPEDO TUBES. SUNK BY TORPEDO FROM GERMAN RAIDER EMDEN WHILE AT ANCHOR OFF PENANG. 91 MEN LOST. (DODS). SALVAGED AFTER WW1 BY JAPANESE CO AND BLOWN DOWN TO SEA BED.
