Simplified Wreck Survey
The shipwreck INGSTAT located at coordinates 52 9.046 N, 1 41.059 E in the North Sea off the coast of England has a detailed hydrographic survey history spanning nearly a century from 1923 to 2017. Initially recorded as a dangerous wreck with various depth sweeps over decades including a least echo sounder depth measurements and scour depths reaching down to 28.9 meters with dimensions approximately 55 meters in length and 11 meters in beam, the site was surveyed using advanced multi-beam sonar in September 2016 where the wreck was not located and subsequently classified as dead on the charts.
