Simplified Wreck Survey

The shipwreck Hurlford is located in Gunna Sound, Scotland at coordinates 56 32.333 N, 6 40.083 W. The vessel is well broken on the northeast side of Roan Bogha with its bows pointing northwest on a shingle seabed at the base of the rock in general depths of 15 to 23 meters. Wreckage is scattered over a wide area where the boiler is the highest point alongside visible remains of the engine and winches. The site was investigated in June 2012 using multibeam sonar on a rocky seabed but was not located, and the wreck status is dead.
