BUILT IN 1937 BY A STEPHEN & SONS LTD. THREE DRUM BOILERS, TURBINE ENGINES OF 44000 SHP FOR 36.5KTS. 8 X 4.7 HA, 1 X 4.2PRD AA GUNS. 2 X 21 INCH TORPEDO TUBES. FOUNDERED WHILST UNDER TOW BY HMS HURSLEY AFTER BEING BOMBED BY GERMAN AIRCRAFT OFF TOBRUK. 4 MEN LOST. (DODS, WW2SL).
