Shipwreck details for HMS Christine Rose located off the coast of Scotland near Knap Rock. The wreck is situated at coordinates 55.884267 N, 5.691067 W in the coastal waters of the West of Scotland. Originally ran aground on Knap Rock, the vessel now lies 100 yards east-southeast of the beacon. A detailed hydrographic examination confirms the wreck is a medium-sized vessel measuring 24.2 meters in length, 5.8 meters in width, and 2.29 meters in height. The ship lies oriented on a 000/180 degree heading with the bow facing north. The site features a clearly defined boiler which forms the shoalest point of the obstruction at a least depth of 8.61 meters within a general water depth of 11.1 meters. There is no evidence of seabed scour surrounding the structure. Surveyed data confirms this site is cataloged as a charted wreck at a depth of 8.6 meters.
