HMS Ashanti bow section underwater wreck located in the deep waters of the North Atlantic Ocean at coordinates 49 25.867 N, 18 34 W. Following a Tigerfish torpedo impact that split the hull in two, the stern sank separately while the bow section settled at a general depth of at least 4050 meters. The site consists of a deeply submerged metal hull structure documented by official hydrographic surveys from the UK Hydrographic Office and Royal Navy vessels including HMS Sceptre. Due to the extreme depth exceeding four thousand meters, the obstruction is considered too deep to chart for standard navigation but remains a significant historical military wreck site.
