Simplified Wreck Survey

The Headlands shipwreck is a World War 1 steamship located underwater approximately 8 miles south of the Scilly Isles at coordinates 49 45.037 N, 6 21.554 W in the Atlantic Ocean. Initially recorded as a sunken obstruction, historical hydrographic surveys noted a depth of 73 meters, but subsequent official searches in 1989 and 2017 found no trace of the wreck, leading to it being officially deleted and classified as dead in the marine dataset.
