The historic shipwreck of the vessel Gouvernaren is located at coordinates 64 32.48 S, 61 59.77 W in the waters surrounding Thor Islet and Nansen Island in Antarctica. Originally identified as an old sealing factory ship, this underwater wreck lies in a shallow cove on the east side of Thor Islet.
