PASSAGE NEWPORT FOR BREST TO EMBARK WOUNDED. TORPEDOED AND SUNK BY UC-56. CAPTAIN BURT AND 94 OF THE CREW WERE AMONG THE 153 LOST FROM A TOTAL COMPLEMENT OF 186.
