The underwater wreck of the ship Gallia is located at coordinates 22 33.737 N, 88 15.201 E in the Bay of Bengal near the Hooghly River approach and Sandheads off the coast of West Bengal, India. Historical hydrographic survey records from the UK Hydrographic Office document the wreck and its associated navigation buoys dating back to 1937, with subsequent surveys in 1959, 1978, and 2006 noting depth updates showing the submerged hazard at depths between 5.5 and 6.1 meters.
