The wreck of the Danish steamship Fredensborg was historically recorded in the North Sea off the coast of Scotland. Although previous hydrographic records placed the Fredensborg at coordinates 58 24.979 N, 1 53.104 W, modern maritime surveys conducted in 2012 failed to locate any wreckage at this site, leading authorities to officially classify the wreck as dead or disproved at this location. While historical documentation from 2007 suggested a potential connection to a different wreck site located at 58 48.668 N, 02 24.209 W, the original chart entry for the Fredensborg in the vicinity of 58 24.979 N, 1 53.104 W is no longer considered an active underwater obstruction.
