CAUGHT FIRE OFF DUMALI POINT, MINDORO ISLAND, WHICH COMPLETELY GUTTED THE VESSEL. TAKEN IN TOW & BEACHED OFF THE BATANGAS COAST. OF 74 CREW & 180 PASSENGERS, SEVEN PEOPLE DIED. DECLARED CTL. (MSD).
