The shipwreck of Cory No.6 is located in the Rio de la Plata estuary near Buenos Aires at coordinates 34 35.325 S, 58 21.533 W. Historical hydrographic survey records from May and August 1971 document that the vessel sank in Basin A and was subsequently refloated, with the wreck buoy and obstruction status officially deleted from maritime charts after salvage operations.
