Simplified Wreck Survey
The shipwreck Corhampton is an underwater obstruction located in the North Sea off the coast of England near the Humber estuary at coordinates 53 53.051 N, 0 27.358 E. Sunk in December 1941, the site was comprehensively examined in April 2016. The submerged wreck lies in a general depth of 42 meters, sitting upright on its hull in two broken parts with the bow and stern prominent, generating a strong magnetic anomaly. The main structural dimensions include a length of 116.6 meters, a width of 21.2 meters, and a height of 8.97 meters, with a least multibeam depth of 34.53 meters and an orientation of 11/291 degrees, alongside a scour length of 10 meters oriented toward 111 degrees.
