BUILT OF IRON IN 1883 BY W RICHARDSON & CO LTD, NEWCASTLE-UPON-TYNE. OWNED AT TIME OF LOSS BY THOMAS THOMLINSON & CO. TWO BOILERS, COMPOUND EXPANSION ENGINE OF 300NHP, SINGLE SHAFT. PASSAGE ODESSA FOR ANTWERP. ENCOUNTERED HEAVY FOG AND DROVE ASHORE. CREW OF 31 RECOVERED BY THE LIFEBOAT. (SIBI). CARGO 3000 TONS OF WHEAT, BARLEY, MAIZE, OIL CAKE, FEATHERS AND 175 CATTLE. (D C WENDES).
