Simplified Wreck Survey
The shipwreck Brotherly Love is a historically reported underwater obstruction located off the coast of Whitby in the North Sea at coordinates 54.3406 N, 0.30103 W. Originally reported lost in 1918, subsequent hydrographic surveys conducted in 1989 and 2017 found no physical indication of wreckage or structural remains at the reported position. While historically cataloged as a wreck site near the Whitby area and Baymans Hole, modern multibeam sonar surveys have failed to locate any trace of the vessel on the seabed, leading to its classification as non-existent or no feature found at this location.
