Simplified Wreck Survey

Underwater wreck information for coordinates 50 24.013 N, 4 12.643 W located near Bull Point, Plymouth, Devon. Historical records indicate this site formerly contained the wreckage of an old timber barge. The obstruction was first identified in 1942 as a vessel visible at low water situated near the south end of the Bull Point Pier. Over the decades, the site underwent various inspections, including reports of munitions and depth charges, leading to diving operations and buoy installations. Following professional salvage and survey efforts, including searches by HMSML Gleaner in 1999 and 2000, the barge was confirmed as lifted and removed. Current hydrographic data confirms that the wreck no longer exists at this location.
