Underwater Wreck Site Survey Details for Location 53 38.071 N, 6 3.864 W located in the Irish Sea off the coast of Ireland. This underwater obstruction consists of an intact, upright vessel identified as a large iron barge. The shipwreck measures 32 meters in length, 8 meters in width, and stands approximately 3 meters high above the seabed. Official hydrographic surveys and Irish Wreck Records indicate a least depth of 17.4 meters over the structure. Originally identified as a hazard to local fishermen, the wreck lies in a general water depth of 21 meters at an orientation of 085/265 degrees. Site data verified by DGPS surveys confirms the position of this intact steel barge wreckage.
