Simplified Wreck Survey

Underwater wreck located at coordinates 12 48.39 N, 74 48.94 E near the Mangalore coast in the Arabian Sea. This underwater obstruction, identified in historical records as H2997/71, was officially reported on July 16, 1973. Mariners and divers should be aware of this submerged hazard in the vicinity of the Dehra Dun wreckage site. The obstruction remains documented in official hydrographic notices including NM 180/73 and NM 1462/73.
