The UK Hydrographic Office surveying details for the underwater wreck Applegarth, located at coordinates 53 23.582 N, 3 0.131 W off the coast of the River Mersey near Liverpool, indicate that the vessel sank near the Woodside Stage, was temporarily marked by a buoy by the Mersey Docks and Harbour Board, and was subsequently salved.
