The wreck of the steamship AIGBURTH lies off the coast of Robin Hoods Bay at coordinates 54 26.725 N, 0 27.92 W. Located approximately 2 miles northeast of South Cheek, this underwater obstruction rests in a general water depth of 46 meters. The site consists of a well broken up wreck in a severe state of decay with a least water column depth of 41.41 meters. The wreckage measures 61 meters in length and 19.4 meters in width with a height of 4.62 meters and an orientation of 151/331 degrees. Historical surveys identify the vessel as having a steam triple expansion engine and a single boiler with three furnaces located in the aft section.
