Simplified Wreck Survey

The shipwreck known as the QUAGGY is recorded at coordinates 54 27.511 N, 0 25.603 W near the North Cheek of Robin Hoods Bay off the North Yorkshire coast. Historical maritime records indicate the vessel was reported sunk in this area in 1917. Multiple hydrographic surveys have been conducted to locate the obstruction, but the site remains classified as non-found with no underwater features identified during modern multibeam sonar surveys. Maritime experts suggest the actual wreckage of the QUAGGY may be situated further offshore at 54 28.128 N, 0 30.469 W. Current nautical charts indicate the original reported position is clear of hazards to navigation.
