The shipwreck of the vessel ACTION is located at coordinates 54 10.31 N, 3 14.081 W off Sandscale Haws on the southeast side of the Duddon Estuary, Cumbria. Originally stranded and drifting in October 1973 around Haverigg Sand, Roan Head, and Barrow, the vessel was later recorded near Sandscale Haws. Historical data from January 2001 notes doubt regarding the wreck's continued existence, with reports indicating it may have been broken up in situ by demolition contractors.
