Simplified Wreck Survey

The Karachi Port Trust dredger Zaffar sank on February 24, 1980, while being towed off the coast of Karachi, Pakistan, near the Manora Light. The underwater wreck's position was later updated by the Pakistan Hydrographic Navy to coordinates 24 46.75 N, 66 59.74 E. Initially marked by a green conical buoy just to the west, the obstruction was officially deleted from navigation charts and the marker buoy was withdrawn in May 1985 after being amended to a dead wreck.
