Underwater wreck YTC DREDGE 1 located at coordinates 1 43.597 N, 108 16.776 E in the South China Sea off the coast of Sarawak. This dredging barge was reported sunk in September 2009. Subsequent hydrographic surveys and Malaysian Notice to Mariners 12/190/10 confirmed the wreck position at 01 43.60 N, 108 16.78 E. This underwater obstruction is officially recorded by the UK Hydrographic Office and remains an active navigation hazard for mariners in the Sarawak region.
