SUNK DURING OPERATON HAILSTONE WHEN THE AMERICANS BOMBED THE JAPANESE COMBINED AND FOURTH FLEETS ON 17.2.44. WAS CARRYING A CARGO OF PROJECTILES FOR THE SUPER BATTLESHIPS 'YAMATO' & 'MUSASHI'.
