UKHO wreck details for VORUIT located at latitude 53 33.16 N, longitude 8 9.78 E in the German Bight of the North Sea. Historical survey records show the site evolved from an initial obstruction reported in December 1956 into a confirmed shipwreck with a least depth of 0.3 meters established in October 1957. Subsequent hydrographic updates in 1961 and 1983 recorded the submerged wreck at varying shallow depths before a 1985 survey classified the area as foul with a safe clearance swept at 1.8 meters. The wreck was officially expunged from official nautical charts in April 2016 after being confirmed as dead and no longer visible on modern German charts.
