The shipwreck UNITED SING is located at coordinates 23 13 N, 117 15 E in the Taiwan Strait off the coast of China. Originally grounded in October 1992, the vessel suffered significant structural damage during salvage operations and was declared a Constructive Total Loss (CTL). The wreck subsequently sank at this position and remains submerged near charted rocks. Despite initial attempts to refloat or salvage the steel vessel, operations were abandoned due to severe seasonal monsoon weather conditions. The UNITED SING now rests as an underwater obstruction in this maritime area.
