21.12.81 WENT AGROUND NR TATER-DU LTHO AND CAPSIZED AFTER EXPERIENCING ENGINE FAILURE. ALL ONBOARD LOST. WAS ON MAIDEN VOYAGE FROM YMUIDEN TO ARKLOW. PENLEE LIFEBOAT AND ALL CREW ALSO LOST IN RESCUE EFFORT IN GALE TO STORM FORCE WIND. (LL, 21.12.81).
