DEVELOPED A HEAVY LIST WHEN WEST OF GIBRALTAR, COULD NOT BE RIGHTED IN SEVERE GALE FORCE WEATHER CONDITIONS. 24 MEN TAKEN OFF, SEVERAL CREW REFUSED TO ABANDON SHIP, FOUR BODIES RECOVERED, 10 MISSING. REPORTED TO HAVE SUNK APPROX 120M W OF GIBRALTAR. (MSD).
