Simplified Wreck Survey
The historical wreck of the German submarine UB 37 is located at coordinates 50 7.038 N, 1 47.082 W in the English Channel off the south coast of England. Initially reported as sunk approximately at these coordinates based on historical German records, the underwater site was later charted at depths ranging from 25 fathoms to 45 meters with a positional accuracy reported as approximate or doubtful. During subsequent hydrographic surveys conducted in November 1993, nothing was found at the primary position and the existence of the wreck at these specific coordinates was disproved, leading to the site being officially deleted from navigational charts in March 1995.
