EX-YEWBANK, EX-OKEHAMPTON, EX-ABERDALE. BUILT IN 1914 BY J FULLERTON & CO, PAISLEY. OWNED AT TIME OF LOSS BY DUNGRANGE SS CO. ONE BOILER, TRIPLE EXPANSION ENGINE OF 90NHP, SINGLE SHAFT. PASSAGE SOUTHAMPTON FOR THE NORMANDY LANDINGS AT JUNO BEACH. WAS FORMING UP IN CONVOY WHEN ATTACKED AND SUNK BY E-BOAT. HIT BY A SINGLE TORPEDO AND DISAPPEARED IN A GIGANTIC EXPLOSION. ONE CREW MEMBER AND ONE DEMS GUNNER SURVIVED. (SIBI).
