BUILT 1966 BY SCOTT'S SHIPBUILDING & ENGINEERING CO LTD. OWNED AT THE TIME OF LOSS BY REEFER SERVICES CO LTD. PASSAGE LE HAVRE FOR ALMERIA & CASABLANCA. CAUGHT FIRE FOLLOWING EXPLOSION IN HOLD 5 DURING A STORM 20M OFF USHANT. THE CREW WERE AIRLIFTED TO SAFETY AND THE BLAZING VESSEL WAS TAKEN IN TOW. VESSEL SANK THE FOLLOWING DAY APPROX 10M S OF ILE DE SEIN. (MSD).
