Simplified Wreck Survey
The TORM ALEXANDRA wreck was historically located at coordinates 6 20.61 N, 10 47.756 W in the Port of Buchanan, Liberia. This underwater obstruction was previously identified along the northern part of the commercial quay where the vessel had capsized. Following survey reports, the wreck was confirmed as raised and subsequently removed from its original position. Later observations in November 2009 confirmed the TORM ALEXANDRA was located at 05 51.786 N, 10 03.441 W, where it was found in an upright position undergoing demolition. Multi-beam sonar surveys of the original site at 6 20.61 N, 10 47.756 W now only show a seabed depression with no remaining wreckage.
