VESSEL, BUILT 1896 BY W GRAY & CO, WAS TORPEDOED & SUNK BY A GERMAN SUBMARINE IN THE BAY OF BISCAY. OWNED AT THE TIME OF LOSS BY CIA NAV BACHI. (DODS). SUNK ABOUT 12M OFF COAST OF HOURTIN, NEAR RIVER GIRONDE, WHILE ON PASSAGE FROM BILBAO TO CARDIFF. (LL WW1).
