BUILT IN 1957 BY SCHP 'APPINGEDAM', APPINGEDAM. OWNED AT TIME OF LOSS BY WIJNNE & BARENDS NV. PASSAGE ARENDAL FOR WESTON POINT. TOOK WATER IN HEAVY WEATHER AFTER HATCHES BROKE 60M OFF FARSUND. RESCUE VESSELS FOUND FIVE BODIES AMIDST FLOATING WRECKAGE. 4 MISSING. (MSD).
