BUILT IN 1954 BY THE CALEDON SHIPBUILDING & ENGINEERING CO, DUNDEE FOR THE TEMPLE SS CO. SINGLE DOXFORD ENGINE FOR 12 KNOTS. OWNED AT TIME OF LOSS BY THE TELEMON MARITIME CO (MITSOTAKIS, KYRIKOS & SONS). ON PASSAGE SAN PEDRO, IVORY COAST, TO THESSALONIKI. BEACHED BY PILOT AFTER DEVELOPING A LEAK. SALVAGE ATTEMPTED BY EUROSALVE OF FOLKESTONE WHO REMOVED THE BUNKERS. ATTEMPT ABANDONED IN 1982. (MSD).
