Underwater Wreck Details: Located at coordinates 50 1.986 N, 5 51.153 W off the coast of Plymouth, United Kingdom, this historic shipwreck site features a well broken up structure lying in a general depth of 65 meters with a least multibeam depth of 59.2 meters. Originally reported by Escort Group 9 and later examined by HMS Bulldog and modern marine surveys, the wreckage measures approximately 97 meters in length and 45 meters in width with a height of 5.8 meters. The site exhibits a strong magnetic anomaly and lies oriented on a 107/287 degree heading with the bows pointing west-northwest. Structural descriptions confirm the remains are fully collapsed with boilers off the line of the shaft, alongside visible engines, boilers, and the propeller shaft, indicating the vessel likely suffered a torpedo strike.
