Simplified Wreck Survey

Underwater wreck survey details for a steel-hulled steamship located off the coast of Scotland near Dunbar in the North Sea at coordinates 56 09.570N, 002 26.182W. This shipwreck site was examined in 2004 and identified as a well broken up steel-hulled vessel lying upright on the seabed. The wreck measures approximately 30 meters in length and 30 meters in width, with the structure rising 4 meters above the surrounding seafloor. The vessel is oriented on a 170/350 degree heading with the bow facing north. Debris is scattered within a 50-meter radius of the main wreckage. The site is characterized by collapsed sections and is partially covered by a large trawl net near the bow area. Previous surveys recorded a least depth of 49.2 meters in a general seabed depth of 52 meters. The wreckage is estimated to be between 300 and 500 gross tons.
