Simplified Wreck Survey

Underwater wreck located at 56 12.495 N, 2 22.643 W in the North Sea off the coast of Scotland. This submerged obstruction was identified as a broken-up wreck covering a small area with an approximate radius of 6 meters. Survey data indicates a least echo sounder depth of 59.4 meters within a general surrounding depth of 60 meters. Historical records identify the site as HMS Shipham. The wreck shows no evidence of scour and is situated in a debris field characteristic of a broken-up vessel. This site is documented for maritime navigation and hydrographic purposes.
