Originally located in 1972 lying upright in a general depth of 265 feet of water with a 060/240 degree orientation, the site was later classified as a non-dangerous wreck and subsequently updated as a submerged wreck at various depths ranging from 59 to 72 meters. BUILT IN 1971 BY SCHPS 'DE WAAL', ZALTBOMMEL. OWNED AT TIME OF LOSS BY MC 'STADE' REEDEREI & SCHIFFAHRTSGES. PASSAGE CASABLANCA FOR OSTEND. BROKE IN TWO FOLLOWING COLLISION WITH COLOMBIAN MV CIUDAD DE MANIZALES. AFTERPART SANK ALMOST IMMEDIATELY, FWD PART DRIFTED FOR 48 HOURS BEFORE BEING SUNK BY THE FRENCH NAVY. TWO MEN RECOVERED, 11 LOST. (MSD).
