BUILT IN 1977 BY GOTAVERKEN FINNBODA AB, STOCKHOLM. OWNED AT TIME OF LOSS BY AKROPAN SHIPPING CORP. HAD AN EXPLOSION LOADING GASOIL IN NO 14 TANK & CAUGHT FIRE, AT SKIKDA. TOWED OUT OF HARBOUR, LATER DRIFTED, GROUNDED & BROKE IN TWO. DECLARED A CONSTRUCTIVE TOTAL LOSS. THREE CREWMEN DIED & 24 WERE HOPITALISED. (MSD).
