Simplified Wreck Survey
The shipwreck of the vessel Sir Henry Morgan is located at coordinates 54 59.809 N, 11 53.466 E near the Masnedsund bridges in Danish waters. Historical hydrographic survey records from the UK Hydrographic Office and Danish Notices to Mariners document the casualty history of the wreck. Initially, the vessel sank between the second and third bridge pillars north of the navigation span. Following subsequent movement by the 7-meter quay approximately 15 meters southeast of the Masnedsundbroen northern landing, only the mast remained above water. Survey updates confirmed a revised position before the wreck was officially removed and lifted, resulting in no further action required for navigation.
