Simplified Wreck Survey

The shipwreck SEDULOUS 2 is located off the northeast coast of England near the Farne Islands in the North Sea at coordinates 55 40.8 N, 1 36.264 W. Originally reported sunk in 1975, historical UK Hydrographic Office survey records initially noted a least depth of 28 meters, which was later amended to 45 meters in 1977. Subsequent hydrographic surveys conducted in 2002 by Gardline and in 2021 using multibeam sonar data by Meritaito failed to locate the obstruction, leading hydrographers to classify the wreck site as dead with no further archaeological action required.
