Simplified Wreck Survey

The SEA WITCH shipwreck is located at coordinates 55 45.999 N, 1 53.095 W, approximately 3 miles east of Berwick upon Tweed in the North Sea. Historical UK Hydrographic Office records note that the vessel sank on June 6, 1992. Subsequent hydrographic surveys conducted in January 2002 by Gardline and in April 2021 utilizing multibeam bathymetry data by Meritaito failed to locate the wreck, leading authorities to amend its status as dead with no further action required.
